Bookaboo is a British children’s TV show broadcast in French on Radio-Canada and TFO. Les Affranchis developed its digital counterpart in parallel with the Quebec version of the show.
Young fans could head online to watch videos of their favourite puppet in his environment recreated in 3D. Bookaboo, filmed in front of a green screen, interacts with the child by calling them by their name and invites them to play various games designed specifically for young children.
Literature plays a pivotal role in the show and it was also a big part of the website: the child could access exclusive stories and store them in their Sacabou. A book club also enhanced the experience by providing a forum for parents. The Bookaboo website was designed with one goal in mind: to captivate young and old alike!
